Stop at Walpole Inlet before visiting the nearby Giant Tingle Tree, which gives you a peek at the world’s oldest living eucalypt. Walpole – Nornalup National Park is filled with Tingle and is a wonderful forest experience.
The Circular Pool is also situated nearby. Perfect for paddling in the Wilderness Area’s waterfalls and rock pools. A significant share of the Walpole-Nornalup National Park is occupied by the caching for the Walpole and Nornalup Inlets.
Filled by the Walpole River and Collier Stream, the dim waters of the Walpole Inlet empty into the Nornalup Inlet through the Channels. A stunning view of both inlets is offered by the Channels and can be easily reached by taking The Knoll Scenic Drive. The Walpole Inlet is easily accessible from the town of Walpole, which has a large visitor centre where you can get a lot of helpful information from the knowledgeable workers about the Walpole Wilderness Area’s natural attractions. Popular outdoor activities on the Walpole Inlet include canoeing and kayaking.
