Irwin Inlet

Irwin Inlet is a peaceful spot to take a break from your travels and have a picnic by the river. Try scenic saltwater paddling through short canals or rowing up the Kent River or Bow River to the mouth of the inlet. Irwin Inlet is a tidal inlet that fills and empties into Peaceful Bay and the Great Southern Ocean from the Bow River and Kent River. Located at Peaceful Bay, the annual sandbar shuts during the summer, providing unrestricted beach walks from Peaceful Bay. Peaceful Bay Beach is cut by a river in winter that is often hard to cross.
